would I be able to do a PC from chase United explorer to the csp of should I just apply for csp ?
I don't think you can switch from co branded to the CSP. Plus, you would want to app, IMO, so you can get any offers for getting the card.
So maybe try to switch my slate instead ?
You would be missing out on the signup offers. If it were me, and depending on your scores, I would app.
You cannot switch a co-branded card to a true CHASE card non cobranded card freedom/csp/slate.. what you can do is apply for say a CSP and move the credit limit from the other card and close it out if you would like.

But you could take a Freedom and PC to a CSP and just move the CL, right? Without an HP?

Why would you PC instead of applying for and getting the bonus?

Trying not to get an HP.

Is an HP not worth a bonus that is worth at least $500?
