Hello Forum,
I have a quick question before applying for the eBay MC. I currently have a PPMC linked to one PP account and PP Credit linked to another. When I clicked on the link from the invite email in my ebay messages it seems to want you to log in to your eBay account again. Where does it go from there? Does it exist as a part of your eBay account only or does it somehow need to also be linked to a PP account. Hoping it would exist separately from PP, added only manually if you should want to use it as a funding source.
Hope the way I posed this question (rambled) isn't confusing?
TIA for any info you are able to provide. Didn't want to go into this activity blind and perhaps waste a HP.
The old eBay extras card required PayPal. The new one should not need PayPal. You would be activating and managing it through sync's website.

I had hoped this would be the case. Thank you very much!
Hi @AverageJoesCredit,
Yeah, I know but ran across a screenshot of an eBay card being paid through PayPal which prompted my questions. Now I can move forward. This is one of my final 2 apps in a 3yr cycle then gardening for 2-3yrs. Well, Discover may or may not drag me back out for a 2nd card. Thanks for the response!

No problem. Lol i would get this but it would be me just collecting cards and i already have to much Sync exposure
Understood. Almost went for Penfed and Navy, had to talk myself out of it. I've laid the foundation for the cards that I have to grow into my goal ~250k within the next 2 yrs. After gardening, plan to pick up 2-3 biz cards to complete my portfolio.
Portfolio management...it's not just a job, it's an adventure!

If you qualify for Navy, make them your number one priority!. No better lender to grow with especially if you have a good income. Pentagon, meh , but can be good IF they like you.
Thanks for the tip! Had 3 generations of Navy men in the family, would have to request the service record and have no idea how long that takes. I'll look into it and begin the process. Maybe I could open a savings or something with Navy just to begin a relationship and revisit once the credit files have cooled off.
Thanks again!

Brian is correct because the new card is an Ebay Mastercard not a Paypal Mastercard
The old eBay Xtra MasterCard required PayPal. If you closed PayPal, the card was closed too.
