Why not just wait for 90 to 180 days?  15k is plenty for most people and save yourself a HP most likely?  15k is pretty generous for first card if scores are accurate in signature.

DW has a 768 EQ. We are apping for a mortgage in Jan 2020. Trying to get the HP’s done and over.

If its what you and DW want , hp be darned lol, send off a secure message to Navy. Explain in detail what you would like to accomplish, your goal on a mortgage in 2020, and just be honest. In my experience, they can be quite accommodating if you actually request something but with solid logic on your side. Good luck
