Recon question

How long after an online denial do you usually have to recon a decision? I have the AmEx Green Card and was wanting a credit card with them so I did the application online and it came back denied. This was last Thursday that I applied. Also, I've had the card for 6 months, always paid on time. Not a heavy used card by any means simply because I have other cards that offer 2% cash back that goes directly into my daughters savings account and I would rather feed that beast right now. Any data points/insight on how AmEx works? Is it worth a call to recon or should I keep it aging and use it more?

Re: Recon question

I'd recon asap, it won't harm anything at this point. The charge cards are easier to get than the credit cards.
