My Sallimae 6th statement cut would be on June 3. I havent got any CLI from them. I m still at 2k CL.
Will barclays give me the auto CLI or do i need to request for?
If it is customer initiated CLI, will it be HP or SP?
Your not promised a Cli at 6 months. And yes requesting a Cli would be a hp.
call number on back of your card and ask CSR if you have any offers on your account.
see if you have offer for a SP Cli.
After that hat ask bout getting your apr lowered. They will transfer you to a specialist.
Got my sallie Mae lowered last weekend, from 20.99 to 16.99% apr. account only 4 months old.
got a sp Cli when account was only 3 weeks old..
call now now and report back.

No luck with CLI increase. she said, it will go for HP. i said NOO.. I asked when will i get the auto cli from them, she said the annual review happens by december.
well i m not using anything beyond 5% rewards categories on this card..however CLI fever is not going.. ![]()
Ok, try twice a month. That's what I did, and finally got my APR reduced.
Honestly, I would max my card out each month for 3 months and PIF each month ... That will give you your best results.
when I had the rewards MC with a $1,300 limit I ran about $3k thru it each month and the night my 6th statement cut I got CL doubled automatically.
or at least use 70% of the limit each month if you have regular spend each month that allows it.

Just out of curiosity., how do you spend 3k on a 1.3k credit limit card? can we use over the CL? will it have any interest?
When I got up to $1,200 usage, I made a payment so I could have my credit available to me again to use, never went over my CL.
if you need to continue to spend just make a payment . Never paid interest.
good luck!
Call them back and say you'd like to see about an APR reduction. They will transfer you to an analyst who will check into that for you and also see if you are eligible for a SP CLI.
