Setting myself up for Citi CLI success

I want to be sure I'm setting myself up for success when requesting CLIs.  I understand that Discover uses what is currently showing on their website from TU when they evaluate, so if you're comfortable with that number you're good to pull the trigger.  I understand that AMEX is delayed a couple weeks to mabye a month, so what you see is not necessarily what you get and you have to be more cautious and patient.  Is the score you see on Citi's site (the EQ bankcard 8) what they're going to use to evaluate that request in real time?  So if I want to ask as soon as I see that number jump up (I'm anticipating a 50+ point jump which is why I'm asking this) on their website, is that what is going to be used?  Is there a delay on the back end like AMEX?  Thank you to anyone who wants to chime in with their experience!
