Should I request a CLI?

I've given up on getting a new house in this current market, so don't mind a hard pull.

I have never requested a CLI on any card and only been given increases a few times periodically.

Is there a way to estimate the likelihood or how large a CLI is?

All my cards were opened over 10-15 years ago.  Current limits:

DISCOVER: 21.5k (6k balance to be paid)

CAP ONE: 5k - 0 balance

CITI: 14.5k - 0 balance

Current income: 200k, No late payments ever.

Current liabilities: Auto Loan, Mortgage, Installment Loan - $1600/mo

FICO Score 8: 805

Re: Should I request a CLI?

Some people have seen success with with lots of use on cards like Cap 1, and I've personally seen it not matter on cards like Discover, but it varies by profile.  The good thing is that I think all 3 of your cards would be able to ask for SP CLIs. DW has gotten steady increases about 3 or so on her Cap 1 card, but they are only $100 per pop. We don't use the card that much though. On my Discover, it was my first major CC, and my profile isn't what it was then. We ran about $40K through it the first year I had it, and they refuse to budge on a CLI. Other people have gotten lots of CLIs from Disco.

I'd recommend smashing the luv button on all of them and see what give you.
