Sportsman's Guide - Dreaded 7-10 Day Response

So, a few days ago I applied for the Sportsman's Guide Visa.

I got the dreaded we are reviewing and will let you know in 7-10 days.

I tried calling to get a definitive answer but I couldn't get an answer out of the representative.

Is there a back office number for SPG that I can call to get an answer or reconn if I'm denied?

Did you do a cold application for this card or did you get a pre-approval popup via shopping cart trick? 

Anyway this card is issued by Comenity bank. You need to wait for the letter and hope it was just to verify identity. Otherwise  it would be nothing short of a mircale to even get somebody on the phone there that knows what recon even means.

I'm going to call and say that I need to verify my idenity on an app.

Let's see what happens..

It was a cold app..

I can never get a pop up..

I'm thinks scores and possible because I already have a shopping account there.

Thats what I did with my sportsman guide. I didn't even have the letter. They verified my identity and congratulations. I got a letter a few days later saying I was denied but I still got the card till this day.
