Starbucks card application

My gf applied for this card twice, denied the first time 7 months ago. Today she got the 30 day message on the automated line, then a 7-10 day online. Being me we had to call and recon, the gentleman just said we're reviewing the app, no more info. Has chase shut us down from reconing? Her scores are 730+. Any one had a similar case?

Re: Starbucks card application

Has she opened or been added as an AU to 5 or more cards in the last 2 years?

Re: Starbucks card application

Do you recall the reason(s) Chase provided why she was denied last time?

Re: Starbucks card application

7 - 10 day letters rarely portent good news. It could be a verification letter

My experience is less than many but I've never had a 7-10 message go approved.

Best of luck to your GF. I actually forgot that there was a Starbucks card by Chase.

My wife had an even better credit score and was denied by Chase last summer, recon wouldn't even listen. I'm starting the wonder if Chase even does recon anymore.

Re: Starbucks card application

Hey friends, well chase called my gf. Turned out they wanted to verify Indentity. Called this afternoon. She almost didn't answer assuming it was a call about her warranty about to expire. Thank you guys for the replies! ✌🏽
