Synchrony CLI

Hello All!

Hoping my fellow Synchrony cardholders can offer some insight.  I opened 2 Synchrony accounts in December--the Amazon Store Card and Marvel Card.  I just had my second statements cut for each card and I'm tempted to ask for a CLI.  From what I've read, there isn't much consistency regarding when is best, althought I've read that some suggest after the 3rd statement...however, others have gotten increases sooner than 60 days.  My scores are in the mid 700's and I have zero derog.  I have limited trade lines, which is why I beleive my SLI's were 2k and 2100.

First question is should I request a CLI now, or wait until 90 days?  Second question, is it better to call in or just hit the luv button?

Amazon Store Card is likely either 3 or 4 months, Marvel likely 6+. 

Its a SP though so there is no harm in asking. I would use the website.

I opened my paypal mc in late nov.  Not sure why but on Sunday I asked for a Cli. Asked for 10k , they gave me 8. Starting limit was $3500. I was pleasantly surprised.

  Marvel is usually almost always 6 months for CLI for most people, amazon store can be a little less time.

As of Sunday, when you requested the CLI, you only had 2 statements cut?

Synchrony major credit cards like Marvel and PayPal almost never have a successful CLI request until at least 6 months. This makes sense since they can be used anywhere and are thus inherently more risky.

@Saeren how long have you had your paypal card--can you share your data points regarding any CLI's?  I assume that you've gotten an increase or 2?

Although, didn't Synchrony just take over the Paypal card recently?
