Synchrony denial due to credit history indicative of potential invalid identity?

About a month ago was at pep boys needing tires. Instead of cash filled out a pep boys app. Got denied but let today said it was denied due to credit history indicative of potential invalid identity? Huh? What is that with a700 FICO on experian. I get the credit bureau ratings but potential invalid identity?

Oftentimes, there is simply a typo or an outdated address on a credit report. So, you'll want to pull your reports and make sure that your current address is accurate. Also, check that all of your personal information is accurate.

If you cannot gain access directly through the individual credit bureau websites, sometimes a Credit Check Total trial will let you in... assuming that you can answer the multiple choice questions to verify your records.
