Try the backdoor # for the credit analyst... I wouldnt use the regular customer service # from the card if I was calling...
Unfortunately, for this trick to work it usually takes calling the regular CSR line. masscredit, I guess they just don't like something on your profile? Maybe you're not spending what they consider to be the goldilocks amount each month on those cards? They're weird. They like some spend but not a little and not a lot and I have no idea where that perfect amount is.

Two Barclay credit analysts have told me that heavy yet responsible usage on the card is usually needed for CLI. Obviously you would not want to let heavy usage fully report is a caution I will add. You would not want to have a utilization issue. I'm only reporting this secondhand from the analyst perspective, so please take that with a grain of salt.
I only use my Ring card for 1-2 purchases a month and PIF currently, and am not really expecting any CLI as a result.
When I had my Rewards and Apple cards, I regularly would utilize 70% of the credit line throughout the month yet only let 20% (or a bit less) report to the bureaus. I made very large payments each month.
It seemed to work as I received 3k CLI's and 2k CLI's on several occasions as well as APR reduction. Barclay's does seem to like heavy usage and very large payments, not necessarily PIF. Hope this helps someone.
The interesting thing is my Apple card doesn't receive much use but it gets the most CLIs. I use it when I buy Apple products along with a few other things once in awhile. My Rewards card is my main card for monthly expenses. I'll keep using it like I've been and try again once in awhile. Maybe I'll be surprised with an auto-increase sometime.
I've called 3x and asked if I could get a soft pull CLI and have been told that all CLI requests will be a HP. What gives! I've had this Apple card for almost 2 years and have not had a CLI at all. I've ran about 8k through it, made small payments, made large payments, paid it off, let a balance report.... I'm frustrated with them! I am paying off the balance next week and into the drawer they go!

Have you first asked for an APR reduction every time?

I did the first time and got a 1% reduction. My statement cuts on the 21st, so we will see.

It's not clear from your posts that you're aware, but you can only get a SP increase immediately after asking for an APR reduction and being transferred to that department.

Dang it! I think I misunderstood. Okay. I guess I'll wait it out. Thank you for your responses!!
