I have called the CSR and backdoor credit department and both are telling me its a HP for CLI. I have had my Everyday card for 9 months and would like to apply but not if its a HP.
Did something change?
Thanks
Ignore what they told you. It's not a HP

Any thoughts? I haven't seen this message before..... do they maybe have a counter offer to take my limit to $3k or do they just need to make sure its me asking for the increase? I tried to call but their closed and i even called regular customer service and they couldn't help me, so i will try back tomorrow if i can, but any idea why i got this email saying they need to speak with me?
What was the outcome of the phone call?

Congrats!
Question Regarding the 3x CLI:
I've had my Blue Cash Preferred open for just about 5 years. I started with a limit of $2,000, which eventually got auto-increased to $2,500.
I was a little late to the 3x CLI party. Prior to my first CLI, I was under the impression that all CLI were initiated by the credit card company and required a hard pull. After some research, I realized that I was mistaken, particularly with my AMEX card.
From there, I got a 3x CLI to $7.500. Six months later, I tried for another 3x CLI to $22,500 and got countered down to $22,100, which seemd a little odd, but no worries.
I'm sitting on the cusp of another 6-month period and was contemplating what to ask for. I was under the impression that $25,000 was the top-end limit without some type of income verification, however, that doesn't seem to be the case any longer.
So, with that being said, any suggestions on what to request when my date comes up on 3/15? My credit is in good standing, as I'm sitting at roughly 755 EX / 765 TU / 780 EQ right now. As I mentioned, I've had the card for just about 5 years with no late/missed payments. I use the card quite frequently, and although I'll never even approach my current limit of $22,100, I would like to continue to push my limit upward for general utilization / credit benefit.
The one sticking point that I wonder about would be my income, as that is only around $50K at this time, but I don't know how much that factors in to a CLI decision.

You're going to have a hard time going much higher than your existing limit given your income. They definitely take that into consideration Realistically is there any reason you need much higher than what you already have? If you do ask for a CLI I wouldn't go much higher than $25K or you'll probably spur the request for income verification and would likely not be approved anyways because of your income.
No reason whatsoever. I just figured that it would be good to keep increasing to lower utilization, as long as it was offered and was a soft pull.
If that's the case, I'll probably just ask for an even $25,000. That'll only be a $2,900 increase from my current limit.
