OK so here's the deal with me I have 4 AMEX cards (AMEX Plat, Delta Skymiles Gold, Delta Skymiles Plat, and AMEX EDC) I just requested a CLI on the EveryDay card and accepted it. So the 6 month clock starts on ALL my other cards as well so I cannot ask for another CLI on any of my other AMEX accounts right well my 2 skymiles cards to be exact right?

My daughter was approved for her first American Express card today. Are they still allowing increases at activation, if not how long does she have to wait to request? I got mine in activation so I'm not sure what to tell her

Lately, they have returned (anecdotal reports) to the 61 time frame.

I thought I had seen that somewhere but I didn't want to give her wrong information. I'm still fairly new to them myself, does it hurt for her to try on activation?

Also, is the 61 days from yesterday when she applied or from activation?

My recent experience which has been supported by other recent reports is that you should wait 61 days. I requested a CLI at activation and was denied. I then had to wait 90 days from my denial date. I would count the 61 days from activation just to be safe.
I was recently on the Phone with customer service at AMX. I have Everyday Blue card and was given $7,000 credit limit. Asked Customer service when I could request credit line increase and they said after 60 days. My account has been open almost twomonths now so another week or so and I'll try to get it Bumped to like $18,000 and see what they say. Can't hurt
