US Bank Cash+ max inquiries?

Looking to apply for a US Bank Cash+ when my new accounts are at 3/24 and 0/12, and my inquiries are at 5/24 and 1/12 (most recent inquiry would be less than 90 days prior to submitting my US Bank app). Would that be too many inquiries?

Re: US Bank Cash+ max inquiries?

It will depend on your overall profile, and also banking relationship does have a effect as well. I had like 50 INQ/several new accts/BK showing when I applied, and was approved, but I also have a Biz checking /credit with them.  Everyone's profile is different. All you can do is apply and see what happens. Whats your TU score?

Can't speak on the cash+ but I was well over the 0-1/12 rule for usb on my alt go app the CSR told me that isn't a rule.

They did give me a probationary limit of 500 though. So YMMV. If you really want the card and are declined you can see if they will give you the secured version of the card instead and then let it graduate.

alt go, and cash+ are the 2 cards I recommend the most to people as starter cards those are likely the 2 best secured cards you can get.

/edit my DP from 10/22

I'd let my newest INQ age a bit more then go for it. In a perfect world I would want 6 months between a USB CC app and my last INQ but I think you'll be ok. If declined don't be afraid to call for a recon. Good luck!
