I thought I'd post this becuase I didn't see anyone else who had been declined for credit at Unify.
I became a member yesterday and applied for a credit card (the variable rate one) and a personal loan (to pay off my Lending Club loan). I was accepted as a member but declined for both the credit card and the loan.
My Exp Score is 753 (4/1/17) and I've had 6 inquiries (on Experian) in the last year. The customer service rep told me that all she could see was that I had excessive inquiries and that is why both were declined.
Has anyone every had a succesful recon with Unify??
I forgot they use an Experian Auto Score 2 -- which is currently 712.
My Experian 8 score is the 753 one.
They use EXP FICO 02 Mortgage
6 inquires is excessive?! Anywho thanks for the DP OP...sorry about the denials...really surprised.

From my own experience with Unify, I joined about one year ago with the intention of eventually getting a pre-approved credit product. It never happened, so last month I just decided to apply for a card. Online was an instant approval for $10k, followed by a call from an analyst the following day who tried to steer me towards a debt-consolidation loan but not both. The APR on the card was lower than the debt consolidation loan so I told them it was a no-brainer. It's now been three weeks and still haven't received the card, but the account showed up online immediately after I sent in my income verification. I probably would have just applied for one product and seen if/what that materialized into before applying for two products, but I also had WAY more inqs than you at the time.
From my own personal experience with Unify I wouldn't recommend them at all. I applied and was approved membership last August and 2weeks later applied for a line of credit request $15k and the app went pending. Got a call the next day from a credit analyst stating that I was pre approved for the full $15k upon income verification. Sent in my last to pay stubs and was then given the run around about my credit report which had lots of recent accounts opened. The analyst then came back with" we can't approve you for the line of credit but" let's look at a debt consolidation loan to pay down some of your balances." I came back with no, I would rather not obligate myself to another loan which I already had one out with another credit union and countered with a low apr credit card for $10k and $5k line of credit. She sent my requested to the underwriters in which came back declining both my request and didn't want to extend ANY credit to me at this time. What a joke! Went from pre approval of a $15k line of credit to not wanting to extend anything my way period?? Avoid them like the plague!

I had sort of a similar experience with them. I was "approved" for both a credit card and a PLCC.
Then they asked for income verification and I immediately sent them tax return, W2, and pay stub.
Over a month later I haven't received any denials or card or anything.
