Hi,
Yesterday I went into a local Wells Fargo branch to apply for Propel World. This morning I check the status line, and it said the application was DENIED because they can't verify my address. Should I call them or wait for their denial letter? My FICO is 800+ and at 4/24. I have a checking account with them.
Please help. I really want this card
Does the address on your CR matches the address on your application and banking end?
Did you move recently?
I'd wait for the letter before doing anything else.

Just checked CR and WF profile, and they have my current address.
I have been here for about 5 years.
Got approved for Delta Amex and CSP without issue in last 6 months.

I dont know if calling them would do you any good, but I'd try anyway. You already took a HP so might as well.
If you wish, you can wait till you get the letter, it may provide a bit more clarity.
Either way, I would not give up quite yet.
Address verification seems to be something that can get fixed easily.
This is my first app with WF. I don't know how willing they are to work with me though...
I would definitely reach out to WF Underwriting to see what the concern was about the address. Maybe it was mistyped or something didn't get listed properly? I've had situations where auto-fill has been my worst enemy at times.

Thanks for your info. Seems like a relatively easy thing to fix. The hardest part for me is to get P2 to call the bank haha...
