Question for the forum family....

I applied for Walmart card via cart (as you know they have retail card and a visa/or/MC as well.  I submitted...no denial, no message of waiting, etc.  Does Walmart look at credit, etc. and determine which card you get, etc.?  Any insight would be good....

Yes, SYNCB, the issuer of the Walmart credit card reviews your CR when making a determination to extend credit. Depending on your profile, you'd be considered for the MC first. If you do not qualify for the MC then the store card will be considered as the alternate unless you do not meet the UW criteria.

Did you receive any kind of email notification shortly after submitting your application?
