Hi @Anonymous and welcome emoticon.gif

To be honest, I would check Discover's pre-approval web page.

https://www.discovercard.com/application/preapproval/initial

Just make sure all your credit bureaus are "unlocked"..

Good Luck!

Do you have any cards or will this be your first? What does your profile look like? What are you looking for ie cashback, points, 0% intro?

I have a capital one $400 limit and a secured discover $1000 limit. I also have 3 retail cards, each under $500 and I am an AU in 3 other cards all each under 1k limit. I'm looking for a high credit limit card more than anything else. Would be nice to have cash back.

How long have you been building/rebuilding?  How many credit apps have you submitted in the last year?

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

I've been rebuilding since December. I've only applied for the capital one and discover since I started.

I've paid everything off. Everything that was in collections was deleted except for two accounts but they both show paid.  My utilization rate is at 12% right now.

So, my gut tells me you're not going to get much love from credit card issuers at this point for a higher dollar unsecured credit limit.  If you want a higher limit card, as things stand today, my suggestion is to get a secured card with a limit high enough to satisfy your needs.

I agree with Horseshoez.

You have a $1000 secured Discover card. Many who have had that card says it will unsecure. You may just have to be patient. It will come.
