I called their backdoor number and got approved for $9000!!!
I am super happy!!! I never thought I will get a Sapphire in 13 month. Is $9000 a standard starting limit ? Should I ask for more ?

Congrats on getting approved. Not a bad starting limit either. Hope you enjoy the card.

That's huge! Thanks I didn't know it. I called them back and they told me it will take close to 2 weeks. I told them I need it in 2 days. They send it with express mail max 2 business days. Smiley Happy I can't tell you how pumped  I am. Thanks again for everybody!!

9K is a good limit. I've seen as low as 5K and as high as 12K

Congratulations!!! Very nice starting limit!! You were thinking $5000 and got $9000. Take care of it. Pay on time. Keep utilization low and more good cards and even higher credit limits are yours for the taking!!

Thanks ! When you say low do you mean 30%?

Yes, don't let something more than 30% report to the bureaus. If you go past it, pay it off before the statement ends. Best to let 10% report at the end of statement. Hopefully you can PIF like that!
