AU don't get msd anymore. Only AU before 2011. So it will not help.

Thank you, I didn't understand then, I read that the MSD is locked but not backdated if get another AU, just primary.
There goes the plan for my DW to get her Amex in January to backdate to 01/14, she is AU from my card.

Wrong. MSD is not locked to basic cardmember, but is locked to date of AU addition. If basic is 2000 and AU is 2014 then AU will have 2014 date upon new account unlike before where AU would have had 2000 as MSD as well as basic.
