Would I be elgible for a Citi card?

Hey guys would I be elgible for any of the

Citi cards...if so which one would I have the best chance at ?

My scores are all over 750+

According to the DP they would pull

EQ which is 791

I have like 8 inquires all from PENFED

No lates. Clean reports

My average account age is the only thing that seems to hold me back and it's

1yr 4 months.

0% utilization on 18,000 always PIF

$40 balance on a SSL

Hoping for a rewards card but wanted some advice.

Thanks 😊

How many inquiries over the last 6 months? Last 12 months?   Citi isn't USBank-level paranoid about inquiries but they aren't overly tolerant.

Don't bet the farm on them pulling from Equifax.

I was hoping for the rewards+ card or the costco but don't want to waste a pull if I'm gonna be denied.

Re: Would I be elgible for a Citi card?

In happier times I would have suggested you go to the Cit prequal site but that continues to be disabled.

3 inquiries over the last 6 months isn't a dealbreaker with Citi.

If you don't take the risk you won't reap the reward.  (no pun intended there re: the Rewards+ card)  A single inquiry won't do you in even if it leads to a denial.    You'd almost certainly take a bigger hit on your scores from an approval when the card reports.

It would not surprise me if you applied and got an approval, but you might want to think about waiting another 3 months to put a bit more distance between those other 5 inquiries.   One thing to be aware of with Citi is that they are generally pretty conservative with starting limits.

I would wait about 3 months due to the last inquiries.   Better safe than sorry
