Would love to add this to my wallet now, but I am thinking maybe I should wait.
With my stats what would you do?
For me, Citi pulls EX
Right now:
EX F08: 786 (Util: ~1%)
INQs: EX
1/6
1/12
INQs Overall (All 3 CBs)
2/6
5/12
New Accounts
2/6
7/12 (5/12 after Jul. 21)
Would you feel comfortable applying & getting approved now with these #s?
*On a side note: DW has been egging me on that we need a new car. More than likely I am going to go the lease route, that should be happening soon, and you know the HPs that go along with that.
I applied yesterday and was approved for $9,900. Citi pulls Experian for me also. Info below prior to app:
Score: 820 (Util: ~1%)
INQs EX:
4/6
8/12
New accounts:
2/6 (both new car loans)
3/12 (new mortgage and the new car loans above)
I had no prior exposure with Citi.
As always YMMV but lemme know if you app and the results. Best of luck. Cheers!

Yes, you could apply. Getting a cc is abit harder than a car loan so if you want to get this app out of the way, go for it
I agree with @AverageJoesCredit go for it and if you decide on getting that auto lease shouldn't be a problem.
Agree, car loan/lease is very easy comparatively as the vehicle is a secured loan.
Credit cards are a bit finicky because of the unsecured nature.
OP with your profile, it's a good chance of approval.
@Wavester64 Definitely!
If You Really want it!
Many want this Card, But 24/24Inq EX Citi pulls on me..🤣
Your profile Looks Good!
Car Shopping Will Be Better
After the New Card..
Good Luck! on Custom Cash!
**Bumping** my post to the top (I hope this is allowed ) to get more opinions on if they feel I would be successful getting the Citi Custom Cash with my stats.
Disregard my comments about the Car, right now I just curious to see what others think of my CCC chances with my current stats.
7/12 on new accounts is what I feel is holding me back.
The 2/6 on New accounts were both within a day of eachother in February.

Although results will vary for everyone, the 7/12 might be something that may tilt things toward a denial (all things considered), but I could be wrong. Algorithms can be very unpredictable at best. You could consider the odds after you're at the 5/12 mark, but that's totally up to you on when you want to pull the trigger 🤷♂️
Has anyone with a high x/24 in new accounts (over 10/24) app for this card and get approved?
I see a lot mentioned for x/6 and some x/12, but not much as it pertains to x/24. 🤔

Why not just pull the trigger and find out if you qualify? Keep in mind, even if someone is approved (or denied), their x/24 will not be the same as your x/24 profile-wise.
