I would call. Never assume denial. Call and ask if there's anything you can do to help the application. Could be verification

Re: applied for a freedom...RECON?

If they only pulled EQ, you can ask themt to check on your Experian report.

What is your credit portfolio? history?

You can call now, don't wait for the letter.

Re: applied for a freedom...RECON?

Definitely CALL NOW!

They will help explain either way for you.

Their Recon Dept are generally concise and cooperative in trying to get you approved, especially for Freedom Card.

Be advised however that they also like to see at least 1 card with more than 1 year history at least.

Good Luck

Re: applied for a freedom...RECON?

I would break your Slate balance down considerably for them and knock out some store cards (since they made mention of those) especially of they are SCT ones.
