I have a torrid and buckle credit card through comenity bank. I was wondering if I applied for the total rewards visa would I get approved since it's also through comenity.

The visa and Mc cards by Comenity have a stricter underwriting than the store cards do, it all depends on your scores and profile.

Hi Op, welcome to the forum! It might be better to post questions about approval chances in either applications or credit cards subforums as this section is usually for already approved .

I find that as with most credit companies , having one card with them doesnt gaurentee youll be approved for another ss each card has different underwriting and criteria. As stated above, usually visas and mastercards are usually abit more stringent in the approval process. Best of luck on your continued credit journey

I personally would not try for a visa or Mc with Comenity until I was over 650s , just my thoughts.

Total Rewards requires you to join their rewards program before apping. Its free to join. You might even get a preapproval popup but at your score it might be close
