chase freedom pending

Hi, I applied fot freedom and got message that app Is pending.

I got yesterday approved for Amex BCE.
I have 6months credit history.

Should I call them and talk to them and wait and if they denied me then call them?

I have 8 months relationship with chase as my only bank with checking acc.

Call them. It is probably a Identity/Verification issue. Also strongly stress the fact you are a Chase Banking Customer. Good Luck, let us know how it goes

Call them right now and report back.  Just say you applied and wanted to see if there is something else needed to finish your application.  Report back with results.

They denied me, not much credit history.
I guess, I am going on 6 month gardening with Amex.

Sorry to hear.. What other cards d oyou have reporting on your credit file?

Cap 1 6 months 700$
Walmart store card 3 months 300$
And amex since yesterday. 3000$

I will Garden 6 months. Waiting to get CLI for Amex and Walmart, hit 1 year mark for credit history and then reapply.

In meantime I'll try for Discover once again, since thet denied me yesterday, reason only 2 acc.

6 months is a good time as it gives Amex enough time to report.  But before you give up entirely on Chase, call again before you give up.  You have up to 30 days to recon.  People with less history have been approved by Chase so don't give up yet.

Also, you came back quickly to say denied... When they said you were denied, did you just hang up?  Because the point of recon is the persuade them to change their minds...

I'll try again in couple of days when my amex shows on report.
I told them to recon since I am chase banking customer.
Next time I will try way harder.
