Ive got decent scores, but 8-12 inquiries, 1 new car, and 4 new revolving since August.
I've looked at Barclay and Suntrust ... they don't seem to give high cls and are new account and inq sensitive. Citi has the longest length, but can't add new BTs after 4 mos.... discover doesn't look bad... i would like to get 10k, 5k wouldn't help me that much..
any thoughts?
You could look at discover, citi and boa products. All have offers initially and they do BT offers ongoing after the inital period is over. Now on the 10k and YMMV, you have 1 card listed over 10k so unless income is high I dont know if any of these CC companies are going to start you off at 10k plus. Good luck!
Thanks for your input JustB...I think you are right...10K might be a stretch. I may have to just settle for what i get and try to grow it

Nothing wrong with getting a solid card youll keep on a 12 months offer and 9 to 11 months later give another brand a go. That will be almost 2 years. The Chase Slate, the Citi Bank boast all of those months and then give you a crappy limit which is ineffective for transfers.
Yes, that is what I was afraid of...I'll look at taking that path!
Thanks for the input!
Sometimes I'm not very bright. Fordguy got me to thinking and I went back and re-looked at all the BT cards I had gone through. One popped up that I hadn't looked at for a BT card, because I had discounted it since they didn't fit what I was doing (at the time..rewards etc). I came accross USAA.... I've been a member there for 20+ years, I looked at my offers with them and they said I was "Pre-Selected"? for their Platinum Rate Advantage at 13.1% with an intro of 0% for 18mo! ![]()
This didn't take long to figure this out, pulled the trigger and instant approval for 10k!!
Perfect!
Gotta go back and put my seedling back up! lol but was worth it!
