$500 SL Cash+ Visa Signatures, yes.    I don't know if that is still the case in 2020.

At a mininum we know it isn't being universally enforced.   I'm sure that Visa doesn't care because a Visa Signature generates slightly higher swipe fees than a Platinum or vanilla version.
