will taking the J.Crew card through cart trick improve my chance of a Crate & Barrel card?

I got the shopping cart trick pop up on the J.Crew site tonight, I really want a Crate & Barrel card. Will having one comenity card improve my chances of getting more offers?

A little background on me: I am pretty fresh out if BK (4/14) I have two capital one cards $500 limit and $2000 limit also a Kohl's card $300 limit.

do you plan on using the card ? it looks like you are digging yourself into an deeper hole by getting sp approved store card.

To answer your question, no it will not improve your chances by having one.  JCrew, VS, Express are easier for most to get and some (more than a few) comenity cards do not have the SCT and if im not mistaken C&B is one of those.

The rewards are decent $20 for each $200 spent. I don't believe C&B does offer the SCT. I think I will hold off I don't want my AAoA to go down. I already have my score up to the mid 600's from mid 500's in May 2014

As someone who just got her chops busted by Chase yesterday for all the comenity cards I have just be cautious about getting too many of them!

Well to be fair when did get the Jessica London, Roamans, OneStopPlus, Woman Within, I was about 200 lbs heavier so I was using those cards in 2013, now 2 years later I cant fit into their plus size clothes anymore so those might be the first to go.

Getting J Crew will do little if anything to get a C&B card. Comenity doesn't let their human employees consider existing relationships when looking at new applications. If you want Crate & Barrel just apply for it and skip J Crew.
