I think the OP was just trying to lower the amount of secured funds he/she had invested in the account.  Smiley Happy

 

Congratulations OP for all your credit accomplishments!!! Keep in mind that if you close the secured card, it will still be on your credit report for at least 10 years and then you will also get your funds returned...  just food for thought!   Smiley Happy
