@Meanmachine-that has my 100% attention! Are you really allowed to ask for that? Tu only? Or Ex too?
It's called Early Exclusion or EE around here. All 3 do it, TU, EX, EQ. You just call in and say, hey this is going to fall off in 6 months, can you remove it early? TU is 6 months early. I can't remember how long for the other 2.
For TU and EX you start with the Date of Frist Deliquency (DOFD). Add 7 years to it
For TU, you ignore the 'day' portion and subtract 6 months. At this point, TU will remove your collection
For EX its a little more complicated. Here you use the "day" portion. EX will normally remove it 3 months early. But you can have a supervisor remove it early 1 month earlier but it has to be on or after the day.
Example DOFD = 12/15/2011
TU will remove it 6/1/2018 (six months )
EX will remove it 8/15/2018 (four months to the day)
EQ will not remove early. Their computers do do it but you can never know when exactly
As a side note, EX will remove inquiries on the 1st of the month on the month they are due to fall off.. Example, inquiry date 12/22/2016. On 12/1/2018 you can ask them to remove it
Hope it help!

Oh wow!!! Ive been so wrapped up in excitement about getting in with Amex that i forgot all about the 3xCLI! So, that would be 61 days from today, right? What about Discover? When is the first time i can ask for a credit increase with them?
It's 61 days from account opening. If you are unsure of that day you can ask customer service via chat on the AMEX site.
In regards to Disco, that's kind of a crap shoot. There isn't much rhyme nor reason to their CLI eligibility. I think I was at about the 2 month mark when I asked and recieved a $500 increase.
