2 Discover CLI

My last increase was in May. I have requested a CLI every week since then and have been denied. I just made a request yesterday and was denied. Tonight I got an email about an auto cli so I figured what the heck and tried another online request and it was approved too.
SL -500 Jan 2016
500-700 approx April
700-1100 May
1100-1400 auto cli today
1400-2100 online request today

I was informed through their chat feature that better chances for a bigger CLI was to wait 60 days between CLI's. YMMV.

I wonder if you got a credit limit denial because the automatic was already in the works.

Congrats, that was very lucky.

I just hit the button every month. Eventually it works

I hit the Discover button for the first time in years on 7/5.  I received a 5K increase from 24K to 29K.  I hit the button around 27 days later, got the two day message and was ultimately declined.  Hit the buttom on 8/11, got the two day message again.  Logged into Discover this morning and saw that I received a CLI of 6K to 35K!  I'm going to hit the button every 31 days for a few months and see what happens.

Congrats! I wanted to request one but I have a balance on my card which is more than I normally have, about 15% utilization which I know is okay, I just normally don't. So I'm not sure if I'm going to wait until the end of the month now. Hoping for more than the $500 increases I've gotten the last two times!

Okay between my previous post and now, I went ahead and requested a CLI and was approved for an increase of $3000 so yesssss! Discover seems to be in a giving mood 😆
