Vented about my disgust toward Cap One in another thread (high scores, perfect payment history, but they won’t budge on a bucketed QS card that has an $850 CL). Have tried for two years to get a CLI and they keep denying.

Checked the pre-qual tool on the AMEX site today and saw I was pre-approved for virtually all of their available cards...selected the one I wanted, and in less than 15 seconds was approved - with a 20K limit. Added bonus - no hard pull.

Cap One who? 😉
