2nd Discover IT Approval + App spree results

Good for you! So I went to Discovers website to fill to check on preapproval and i was approved for 2 cards, I decided to think about it. Woke up the next morning (yesterday ) and they did a HP on my EQ! I called and they advised me to dispute the inquiry and it'll be removed. Annoying! Side note, i can't believe I even got the preapproval, last I checked (01/19/2018)my eq fico was 614, im sure its gone up a little since but idk. I only get that one every 3 mnths. Wouldn't they base the approval on someone's EQ score right? Not tu or ex?

I havent apped in almost 2 years. Your post of a 2nd card with a SP intrigued me.

If they do pull it, I'm ok with it. But if they didnt do a HP, it will make it so much sweeter. They just raised my IT card earlier this week from 4600 to 6100.
