Congrats @mgood on the increase! Miss Disco seems to only like to give me increases when I hold a BT with them, so maybe your $699 balance on the statement was the ticket.
Whatever you're doing, keep it up! Gotta love that steady increase in CL over the last year and a half. Cheers!

Congrats on the CLI! Discover is often generous with CLI's, I have been with them a long time and have been very happy with the way they treat me as a cardholder.
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Discover Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Congratulations on your Disco CLI!!

Just a month after a $1000 increase, when I'd had nothing for over a year before that.
I did leave a $699 balance on this statement, if that counts for anything. (Who knows with Disco?) Most quarters I spend right up to the $1500 cap for the 5% categories and stop. I hit that quicker than usual this quarter with the digital wallet.

That's fantastic!

I don't know. I wasn't trying to leave a specific amount, or any amount. It just wasn't convenient to pay it off before the statement cut this month. I will PIF before the due date to avoid interest charges. I think it had a statement balance of $136 last month. I'm shooting for $0 balance in January because I'm going to be applying for another card in late January or early February and I want to make my reports look as pretty as possible.
Congrats! Nice to see some CLI love form Disco.

How much spending are you doing on the card? It seems like Discover like to see lots of spending on their card. That is what I see when I get my increases and also whenever I see my fico scores go up. I started with a 1.5K SL about 8 years ago and my CL is now 21.5K.
Reading this thread again and i tried again for an increase, i was denied a couple weeks ago lol, just got my first Discover CLI approved for a $1500 !
