Thanks for all the support and feedback guys!
If Barclays does retract the line, as @Saeren mentioned, then they would have already drawn attention to my profile honestly. That means they would have seen the other accts. and acted as they saw fit, so I wouldn't see the problem with calling Recon and stating my case. If I were in danger of losing the card anyway, then where's the harm in trying? If it's the spend bonus they are concerned about, I'll ask them to remove the bonus as I could care less about the $100, just don't deny me the card, as the 4% return is my primary need. And for now this is a mute point until they actually do anything at all.
With US Bank, as @MaizeandBlue mentioned, I am defintely going to Recon this because I don't want to be stuck with a low line of credit on a card that i will be putting steady monthly spend on with utilities and cell phone. The utilization will kill me every month otherwise. During the conversation I will be making sure there is no other HP to reconsider and if I get a CSR that refuses to work with me without a HP, then I'll say "thank you anyway" and call back and try to get a more favorable rep. And if they ask about Barclay during the process I simply have to explain the high level of spend I have between dining and utilities and the 2 cards just made sense for my needs.
I should be doing the Recon on US Bank today....I'll come back and update afterward.
You can call the DU cust. service line and they will tell you what your SL is btw ;-) Congrats!
@Sarahjo
Lol, honestly I think I'll just let that duck lie.....I can wait for the card to arrive, no worries with that one.
Update: So I just got off the phone with US Bank Recon and I spoke with the most personable CSR from S.Dakota and discussed my concerns about the low SL. During the conversation she mentioned that if I knew my wife's income then that could be combined with mine to reflect true "household income". This would not require any other information (no additional credit pulls, not even my wife's name) and I asked if the reconsideration would involve any other credit pull on me, she said absolutely not, that they already have my credit pull and she even complimented me on my stellar profile. And finally, she asked me what amount I was looking for on the credit line (and did take notice that my other credit lines were much higher) and noted all of this on the review. She did state that the application was still under review and that I should receive an update within the next 24-48 hours. So I'm guessing maybe this was indeed still under manual review to begin with?
The conversation could not have been more pleasant. And hopefully this becomes a successful Recon. I will update again as soon as I hear anything.

Glad to hear that....I've dealt with Underwriting Services both personally and professionally and they couldn't be a nicer bunch. You should be able to call the same number, but now input your SS # to get updates on the status of your recon.
And yes the CARD Act of 2009 allows you to add your spouse's income on credit applications as long as you "a reasonable expectation of access" to it. The exception would be credit unions which typically would accept only the individual applicant's income unless both applicant and spouse were credit union members and applying as joint account holders.
YOU...
CONGRATS on the LEGENDARY App Spree and Thank you for the DPs!!!
Congratulations on your approvals! Good point on your accounts aging together.
Congrats on the approvals. Just hoping that Uber card pops up in my Uber app. That is one that I look forward to.
