Hey all,
Just dropping by to share another "step up" on my credit rebuild ladder with everyone. Here are my Data Points for anyone interested:
Now, onto the EXCITING news.... I've had a CC with BBVA with a CL of $700 since 02/2020. In the past few months, PNC bought out BBVA & my credit line remained the same during the transition. This morning I called PNC & asked if a CLI request was a hard or soft pull. The CSR advised that it would be a soft pull. She entered the request & got an immediate response. My CL increased from $700 to $3,000.
Next, I decided to try my luck with NFCU since I haven't requested an increase on any of my cards with them since last June. I called to make the request & was told it "could" be a hard pull. I explained that my CRs are all frozen & the NFCU rep said that if a hard pull was necessary I would be contacted by NFCU to unfreeze my reports. I requested a $5k increase on each of my 3 cards, for an overall CLI of $15k. Late this afternoon, I checked my NFCU accts & each of my 3 CL's had been increased the full $5k.
So, with no hard pulls, my total available CL's increased from $40,350 to $57,650 today. It's been a pretty good day!
As always, sorry for the long post. I just try to provide as many details as possible. Wishing each of you a safe & fun-filled weekend & a credit journey filled with happy moments worth celebrating!
Congratulations on your productive results and rebuild with those CLI's!
