Applied on 7/25/16. 5/3 didn't pull my credit (EQ) until 7/26/16. Called earlier today and said application was still pending. Just got home to find a letter from 5/3 saying i was denied because they couldn't pull my EQ credit. I called number on the back of letter which seems to go straight to UW. Rep said yes you were denied because I was unable to pull your credit. I said I got a HP from 5/3 on 7/26/16. He checks another location and says yes you were approved for $7,500. I said was that the Platinum Mastercard or the Preferred Mastercard I was just approved for on 7/18/16. He said let me check and then comes back and said no that was the Preferred card. I said can you check the Platinum card and then he says yes it was approved for $9,500. Just to be sure, I asked when was it approved and he said just today. Hasn't shown up on my profile yet but that may not happen until afte batching tonight. If this holds true, I've competed the sweep of 5/3. I believe the Stand Up 2 Cancer is the only card that doesn't have service area restrictions.

I think this is true---I'm not in their service area either but it allows me to app for the SU2C card--not the others (didn't finish the app BTW--it was just for experiment) But my question would be if I were approved for this one--would they eventually allow me to app for others? (sorry for the thread hijack 12njoy---and congratsj!)

I kinda of went throught the same thing for almost 2 months! I think they had things a bit mixed up too. First they said yes, then they said they couldn't verify and then poof, it's there! Thank goodness they didn't pull another hp after 2 months. Glad you have yours straightened out also.
