Asked for $40,000 and got the dreaded income verification page.
Then I hit the back button and I put $35,000.
Again I got the income verification page.
Then I asked for $32,000 (I should've asked for $34,000-$34,500) and I was instantly approved.
That old AMEX limit myth of needing to verify income for any limit amount over $25,000 is total BS.
Like the cunning and deadly Raptors from Jurassic Park, you test the credit fences for weaknesses.
Haha! Congrats! I did the same late Feb and had the same outcome. Now itching for 6 months to try again.
I have a feeling the next one might require POI since $34.5 is the new $25
