No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
A few years back I went on a major app-o-Rama with a lot of issuers. Got some great cards, good SUBS, but of course, that knocked me out with Chase.
My choice airline is American, but I've been eyeing the United Quest card because of a destination that I visit a couple times a year, and United has the best flight options and we both check a couple bags. The checked bag fees, along with the $125 United Credit will negate any fee on this card (current AF is $250).
In November of 2021 I tried testing the waters trying to get approval at 5/24. Every card I did this was declined. In April I fell under 5/24 And Decided to apply in May. I was declined for too many new accounts opened in the past 24 months. Agent told me to wait and reapply. I should have pressed harder for approval. She was really a tough agent and not budging even though I was definitely under 5/24
Anyways. DPs listed below
Chase Quest: approved.
CL: $16,300
APR: 21.24% but I PIF anyways.
5/24 status: 3/24 now with this approval I am 4/24.
Income :$100k
Housing: Owned/paid off mortgage.
total credit limits on all cards: $200,000
no derogatory items. No lates.
CB pulled: as usual, Chase is a double-puller. Seems like Experian was pulled first and then EQ shortly after.
will garden for a while (1 year)
So far, been a good morning.
Sweet approval for you, grats on getting it done!
