A step out of the Garden

I took a planned step out of the garden this morning.

Approved for:

Barclay's Uber Visa - SL 10K

US Bank Cash + - SL $20K  I was really suprised about this limit given that USB has been known to be stingy with limits.

FNBO Ducks Unlimited - SL $5.7K

So my new cash back strategy is:

Gas - 5% on Ducks Unlimited

Utilities and Cell Phone - 5% on Cash+

Amazon Purchases - 5% on Chase Amazon Prime Visa

Dining - 4% on Uber

Travel; -  3% on Uber

Grocery - 3% on BCE

Rotating Catagories - 5% on Discover

General Spend - 2% on Citi Dc

Kids are au on Cap One QS so I get 1.5% back on their usage otherwise QS is sock drawered.

I will not be under 5/24 until 2/20.

I always say if you're going to step out of the Garden, make it count... and you certainly did!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: A step out of the Garden

Congrats on the approvals! I've been looking into the Ducks Unlimited card myself but with the rotating categories between Discover and Chase, I havn't found it to be necessary yet.

Re: A step out of the Garden

Congrats!!!  Gardening works or something.  Seriously impressed with the US Bank approval and glad you didn't need to call for a 30x or 40x CLI upon activation like some of us.

Congrats on your three new cards! That should optimize quite nicely with your rewards strategy.
