I've had my AMEX BCE for about 18 months now, I believe at the first 91 day mark I had requested a CLI but was denied because my score had gone down since I first opened the account. Nothing bad but just due to the higher utilization that posted on my cards.
I think a year into I got an auto CLI that took me from $2k to $3k. So smaller, but I'll take it.
Come today and I decided to go for a 3X CLI request, APPROVED! So this bring this card to $9k and is no longer my lowest card. My WF card is now my lowest at $7k but they do HP requests so I just have to wait for that one to come up on it's own.
Stoked though on this increase!
Current cards are now:
WF Platinum - $7000
AMEX BCE - $9000
Discover IT - $17500
NFCU Platinum - $25000
I've had quite the journey. My WF card was my first REAL credit card and it was originally a secured then upgraded over time to non secured. Before that I had bad credit and non prime cards with like $350-$500 limits. The AMEX lower limit had been bother me for quite some time haha so I'm happy to bring this one up.
I still have work to do but time heals!
In case anyone is wondering I called in to make the request. But I'm sure it doesn't matter if you do it online or on the phone, but figured I'd mention it anyway.
