So ive been a member for quite a while here at myfico. I fell off the wagon and now back on track.
Ive had a CO and AMEX card for about 4 years with no automatic CLI (and Ive never requested one). Today I got on and requested a CLI for my CO and AMEX cards.
Instant approval to 7,500 from 2,500 on AMEX and a 2-3 day message on the CO. AMEX had a 0 balance and CO had a 1,200 balance on a 3,000 limit.
Also have a State Farm CC, but everything Ive seen here indicates it is a HP so I didnt bother with that one. It is my oldest card, opening it up when I was in college about 8 years ago and only has a $2000 limit. Its been in the sock drawer for a long time now. Little to no rewards and pretty much only use it for a couple of small reoccurring charges, like Netflix.
Just wanted to share my excitement with the group as some motivation to get my score back up into the 750-755 range that I was once at. Currently sitting around 710-715. In the past two years we bought a home, have done some intensive remodeling (some on CC's) and purchased a vehicle.
