Today marks 6 months since the most recent CLI on my AMEX BCP card last July. As suggested here, I applied for and was approved today for a 3X CLI. Here are my relevant DPs:
Initial CL: $8,000
181 day CLI Approved: $24,000
FICO 8: EQ 725; TU 730; EX 706
TU Vantage 3.0 (from AMEX): 778
AMEX BCP Utilization @ CLI: 11.4%
Overall CC Utilization @ Last EX Soft Pull: ~12%
Number of new credit lines opened since last AMEX CLI: 6 CC; 2 new auto loans; 1 auto refinance
I'm not sure why AMEX provides the TU Vantage 3.0 score via my BCP account page on their website? Clearly they SP my FICO score regularly and base their credit decisions on that.
Congrats on your CLI! And AMEX still provides your FICO EX score they just hid it in the Account Services tab just scroll down near personal informaton I think and it's there.

Congrats Op!!!! 👏
5 days to go and I’m going for the 3x which will put us at $45k.
Fingers crossed! Your note raises a question, though: In another six months, do I dare ask for another 3X CLI from AMEX? That would bring my BCP CL to a whopping $72K!
At the moment, my total AMEX CL across three revolvers is $31,600. (I also have the AMEX Platinum with NPSL). I've read that asking for more than $34,500 across all AMEX revolvers will trigger a proof of income request (Form 4506T), but not sure that's still the case. Anyone know the answer?
Congratulations on your approval!
Booyah! That’s beautiful, isn’t it? Gotta love that 3x...
Congrats!
