AMEX BCP CLI Increase !

So I today I reached the 90 day mark from my last CLI increase in June 2022 and I went online to request another one for 15k and it countered offered me 12k. When I opened this account back in March 2022 my limit was 1K,

I'm curious though; how did you get all the way to $12k in only 6 months? If you go by the 3x rule, you should only be at $9k at best ($1k -> $3k -> $9k).

Right ! When I opened the account in March 2022 I was approved at 1k after 91  days I was on this forum reading about the missing increase button clicked on the link as it was not showing up on AMEX website it to me to the CLI page put in the request for 3k I was approved. About 4 days later June 26, 2022. Again there was another link asking about the missing increase button and it took me to the page again LOL just to be safe I requested 5k as I didnt want to trigger anything, I came back with a counter  offer of 6k I guess it was double dip. Right before I posted my comment I had reached 90 days from my last increase I asked for 15k but got 12k instead I'll take anything that will increase my limit LOL. I guess what also helps is that I pay in full each month and don't carry a balance with this card. But could be other factors as well. By far this is my highest limit from my other  cards
