AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Approval (My First AMEX card!)

Since rebuilding, I have been constantly checking the pre-qualified offers website for AMEX cards and when this card finally appeared in the list, I had to try! I had been eyeing this card for quite some time. Starting limit is fine as this card will be used primarily for groceries. Will request a CLI in a little over two months.

Starting limit: $1,000

$300 Sign-up Bonus for $3,000 spend in 6 months

Congrats! I too got approved recently (well, 3 months ago) with a 680 score and same SL and 0% promo. However, I'd caution you to temper expectations in regards to a CLI, as I tried at 61 days and 91 days, and it keeps telling me "you've recently opened an account with us" each time, so I'm thinking I might have to wait until 181 days.

Congrats - treat it well, and it can grow. When I got my BCE years ago, I started with a marginal approval with an $1800 SL. 1 1/2 years later, it was $24k.

Re: AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Approval (My First AMEX card!)

Awesome card. Congratulations! It's probably the most used card in my wallet when I'm not spending for a SUB, as I have been of late. Amex is just the best app and website app, too. Hope you make good use of the 6% grocery shopping and streaming.
