AMEX Blue Cash Preferred Approval

Welp, I am really bad at staying in the garden, sticking to a plan, or avoiding applying on an impulse, and I got enticed by a $300 SUB and No AF for the first year. Got the Blue Cash Preferred card with a $2,000 CL today.

This makes my Blue Cash Everyday card completely obsolete (other than the CL).

I will likely be combining these CL's at some point in the future, as there is literally no point in having both. I'm going to try to keep my Blue Cash Everyday account open, as it is the oldest non-AU account I have, and then product change it to the Blue Cash Preferred (as this is the one I really want). I'll try to align this shortly before the AF renews on the BCP. If not, I'll just close my first account.

Anyhow, hopefully I can actually garden at this point. Unfortunately, knowing me... I'm probably going to fail...

Congrats on your BCP approval. I have Blue Cash now and they offer an upgrade but no SUB...So, I'll wait until I see an upgrade with SUB then go for it.

I do well on this card, between subscriptions, groceries and offers. A very useful card.

Congrats on the approval and probably a good plan on combining limits because $17k would be way easier to play around than $2k haha.

As far as garden, maybe freeze your reports so it takes an extra step?
