Took a chance and applied for and AMEX green card and to my surprise got an instant approval with 7.5 year BK on my report. I applied for the green guessing it would be the easiest to get approved for. In the future I would like to get an AMEX revolving card. Any advice on how I should use the card and when would be a good waiting period to apply and increase my chance for approval on a revolving card?
Thanks. Im not sure what they pulled yet.
I got approved for green in january and was approved for BCE a couple weeks ago.

Congrats! stories like these make wann go ahead and take the plunge with an AMEX charge card and hopefully be approved.
Congrats!
I've been turned down a couple times with an 8 yr old BK. I have very good limits (a couple 10K plus) but mostly pretty new accounts. Is your average age pretty good?
NICE!!!

Oh my is this a ray of hope for us bk'ers. I apped Dec 31st and it was a no go. Stated denied strictly due to bk (mine is 6 years old).
My bk is set to fall off Feb/Mar of 2014, but this makes me want to so tempt it again....okay breathe, breathe and just hold on
