I realize this thread is old, but I wanted to ask about your stats.
What was the cause of your low credit scores in 2017? I had some financial difficulties which my scores plumeted along with several derrogatories beginning early 2019. As of today, my scores are rebounding (sitting at 605 on TU right now).
I burned AMEX but they offered the Optima card if I paid off my balance, along with a year probation.
Anyway, I am hoping maybe we have similar stories, as this would give me hope that I can eventually get the Platinum once I'm out of the probation period.
