Congrats on the great success. Amex doesnt like my credit report now butopefully will in a few months. I am 0-5 with Amex lol. Let us know how you get on with the Platinum. I travel a lot and want this card also.

Congrats, OP! I am a huge AMEX fan myself.

The thing I like most about the SPG points is that, if you transfer to airline programs, you get a bonus. For every 20K you transfer you get an extra 5K.

So those 40K SPG points can turn into 50K airline miles if you choose to go that route.
